Draupadi once went to Dwarka, Krishna's magnificent residence. Krishna was cutting fruits with a knife when an unintentional slip caused his finger to bleed. Everyone rushed to get the badges, but a worried Draupadi rushed to Krishna, tore a piece of her saree, and wrapped it around Krishna's wound to stop the bleeding.
Krishna was intrigued and moved by her love. He asked her what she wanted in return. She wishes he could stay in her life endlessly. Thus, the Krishna Draupadi bond was formed. Krishna has been her only true friend since, rescuing her whenever she found herself in difficult and dangerous situations. Draupadi experienced his divine presence constantly in her life.
